They repaired our original garage doors and openers and when the time finally came for an upgrade, they installed our new doors and openers and have maintained them since. Precision honors their warranty without hassle! I had all new springs, cables, pulleys, and rollers installed 4 years ago and was given a 10-year warranty on all parts. 4 years later, one of the springs broke. Brian came out with a helper in training to perform the service. I showed him my receipt and the broken spring - as well as the cable that got some damage when the spring broke. They got right to work replacing both springs and the damaged cable. I just had to pay the $89 service fee and I feel like I got a door hardware "refresh". After the 10-year warranty is up I will not hesitate to call Precision should the door fail - even though I now have the Precision "green" springs and they look like they will last a very long time. Also wanted to mention that when I called for service (on a Sunday) not only did I get live person to talk to, they were willing to come out the next day. I did get a call that Monday notifying me that the original tech was running late due to a tech calling out sick, so I rescheduled to another day. Employees were polite and professional - both on the phone and the techs that came out to do the work.

If the Lyftmaster Motor is guaranteed for life, why wasn't my old motor , a lyftmaster, replaced. While the service was great, the price was too much. I felt that $1,391 dollars was an awful high amount to pay for a broken motor sprocket. Yes, $200.00 for 4 cast iron pulleys, $198.00 for two springs, new Keypad (my old keypad was not compatible, cost $99.00. Add a $99.00 safety cable, a $699.00 motor and insult me with a $25.00 charge for hardware and disposal. Very professional and a well done job, but this is the holiday season and listening to my whisper jet garage door open will not replace the smile on my family and friends faces the way gifts would. I wonder if they will publish this review. Merry Christmas!
