I had despaired of ever again being able to open my garage door. My remote was long lost, and the garage-opening mechanism was so old that none of the garage door companies I called had even heard of it. Inside of ten minutes the technician had examined it and made a new remote compatible with my ancient unit. He also examined the unit itself and did some minor repairs (missing/loose screws, etc.) to "tide me over," he said, until I had no choice but to replace the garage door and unit. I know who I'll be calling when that time comes! And guess what--the technician was a happy man, content in his work, who smiled most of the time we were talking. It was a great way to greet Monday morning!

Precision's Cody was able to come out the same day I called and replaced my broken Sears chain drive with a really quiet belt drive. The stuff wasn't cheap, but the quality is clearly superior to what I had. Cody was a pleasure to deal with and worked extremely fast.

The technician quickly diagnosed the reason why the door was wobbling when closing and recommended replacing all movable hardware, which he efficiently did. The entire repair was completed in about an hour. The price for the garage door overhaul seems to be steep relative to the time and parts replaced.

Rating 5 stars Your ads on "News 12 New Jersey" were impressive. I needed service on my garage door, it would not close all the way. I called at about 1:30 PM and was promised service between 1:30 and 3PM. Cody arrived at about 2 PM. He addressed the situation and gave us two estimates temporary solution and complete repair. We chose the complete repair. He was done by 3:30 all cleaned up and on his way. I felt bad for Cody he had to work in an unheated space at a temperature of about 20 degrees. Cody was very pleasant, knowledgeable and worked clean. We did not seek another estimate from another service company so I hope your prices are competitive. We were impressed with the quick response time. I would recommend Precision to anyone.

Mr. Sharp, Hello. I took a look into your account. The promo/advertised door is a 2" steel front, vinyl back door. The door you selected is a 1 3/8" door that is steel front steel back, so that was why the pricing was different. If you have any questions, you can give us a call at the office. Thank you!

Was pleasantly surprised to have someone respond to my telephone call on Jan 1, 2015 and even more pleased to be able to schedule repairman visit for the following day.
