Precision honors their warranty without hassle! I had all new springs, cables, pulleys, and rollers installed 4 years ago and was given a 10-year warranty on all parts. 4 years later, one of the springs broke. Brian came out with a helper in training to perform the service. I showed him my receipt and the broken spring - as well as the cable that got some damage when the spring broke. They got right to work replacing both springs and the damaged cable. I just had to pay the $89 service fee and I feel like I got a door hardware "refresh". After the 10-year warranty is up I will not hesitate to call Precision should the door fail - even though I now have the Precision "green" springs and they look like they will last a very long time. Also wanted to mention that when I called for service (on a Sunday) not only did I get live person to talk to, they were willing to come out the next day. I did get a call that Monday notifying me that the original tech was running late due to a tech calling out sick, so I rescheduled to another day. Employees were polite and professional - both on the phone and the techs that came out to do the work.

Thanks for the repair of the broken cable. My input is to have a yearly check for any loose or weak spring or cable, so we can further damages and this is very dangerous if the broken cable or spring swing into the person close to the garage.

Was pleasantly surprised to have someone respond to my telephone call on Jan 1, 2015 and even more pleased to be able to schedule repairman visit for the following day. This was important because of plans to be away from home for vacation starting Jan 3. Cody, the technician was all one could ask for and resolved our Keypad issue promptly and professionally.
