The level of service I received from Precision was simply outstanding! I called for service around 10 AM for a problem I was having with the garage door. The door would neither raise nor lower, so after performing some basic troubleshooting attempts and disconnecting the door from the track myself, I called Precision. My house is only a year and a half old and you would not think there would be an issue with the garage door so soon. The Precision dispatcher advised that a technician would arrive between noon and four PM. At about 12:15, I received a call from our technician Brian saying he would be arriving in 15 minutes or so. So when Brian arrived, we spoke about what the problem was, he then surveyed the situation and promptly began repairs which he saw as excessive play in the track chain which was hanging up the opener's sensor from performing properly. Sure enough, that was the problem. Some minor adjustment to take up excessive slack in the chain, several test runs and a lubrication and we were back in business. I can't offer enough positives about our technician Brian! He was extremely personable, extremely knowledgeable, offered some helpful suggestions, and is a true asset to the Precision team!! The entire problem was diagnosed and resolved in less than half an hour. Thanks again to Brian and the entire very professional Precision team. I will certainly recommend you to anyone I can.

Precision is a highly professional company with employees who are dedicated to providing great service to its customers. We met with Jim Dean at our home to discuss buying new garage doors. He was extremely patient and pleasant answering every one of our questions. As a person who has worked on garage doors for 18 years, he knows the garage business inside and out. Also, when we sent an email asking for some minor clarifications, the staff in the office got back to us right away (on a Saturday morning!) We received a detailed invoice and paperwork listing all of the info about our particular doors. Needless to say we were very pleased with our interactions with Precision.

We had a Genie Belt Drive installed today. Our Technician Bobby was prompt and efficient. After going thru our options on a new opener, the old unit was removed and new unit installed in under an hour. All packaging and materials along with old unit were removed. Bobby took his time explaining the operation and features.

What a beyond-expectation experience we had with Precision! Here's what happened: I pulled into our garage Monday evening around 8:30. As I went inside, I hit the button to close the door, heard a loud noise, and went back to see what had happened. I saw that the garage door mechanism was hanging by one bolt over my van, and the opener track was pulled away from the wall. I didn't want to touch anything for fear of the whole system crashing down...I would deal with it in the morning. I checked online for garage door repairs in my area, saw Precision, read a half dozen reviews, and liked what I read. I called at about 8:10 and booked a service call between 11 and 2 P.M. (for today!) Joe called me from his first call and said he'd see me in 20 minutes. He arrived a little after 2 and got right to work by first asking me some questions about what had happened and the age of the system, etc. He did a thorough inspection of both garage doors. He gave me his "diagnosis" and worked up a quote. I said, "Let's go for it". The whole job was completed by 4:15. It took only about 20 hours from the time of the incident to a completed repair! Joe is an excellent mechanic. He is professional and efficient. He also noticed a frayed cable on my wife's door and replaced it. He also replaced our outside keypad.

I chose Precision Door Service of Central and South Jersey because I read the reviews on line and was pleased with what I read. I was having a problem with the remote openers and, since they, along with the opening motor, were quite old I wanted the entire door and parts checked out. Brian, the service technician met all of my expectations. He was courteous and reviewed the workings of my garage door with me and explained the parts and what function they played. He offered me several suggestions, along with their costs, that would fix my issue and did not pressure me into any one option. I chose to replace the opener motor since it was quite old and I wanted to ensure I have continued operation of the door. He did that efficiently and effectively while also lubricating the tracks for smoother operation. He then reviewed the full operation and explained how to use the new remote openers, new keypad and new inside opener button. I felt the price was fair and I am very happy with Precision and, especially, very happy with Brian their technician.
