I had a spring and a cable replaced on my garage door. Was happy with the repairman, he was nice and professional. Only reason for the low amount of stars was the astronomically high price I was charged. Total of $517 for a spring and cable...seemed very high to me.

My home is in Mystic Island, NJ. We were destroyed by Sandy and have been rebuilding ever since. I found Precision Garage Doors and made the call. Brian came to provide us with an estimate. He took the time to discuss all of our wants and concerns. He was excellent in assisting us with the doors we wanted, in the color we needed to match our other exterior doors, as well as recommend openers and assorted other items. Brian got us through the order process, painlessly. The doors were ordered and we were expecting to have a wait of several weeks. To our surprise, the order came in three weeks ahead of time. Tony came out to install. He was beyond excellent. I have seen numerous contractors at our home, however Tony was the most professional, detail orientated individual we had met to date. The work site was clean and the work performed beyond words. I cannot say enough about Precision and the men and women who we have had contact with there. So far rating is 4 stars. On the original visit in May, the technician measured for a new 2 car garage door. The new door was supposed to be installed on June 15th. I took a personal day from work on that day and 2 technicians arrived on time with the door and dismantled the old door when they realized the new door was the wrong size. The first technician measured wrong. The technicians were are professional and knowledgeable and I understand mistakes happen, but I lost a personal day.

This is the second time I have called Precision. The first was a around three years ago when the garage door derailed from the track. The second was when the gear of the motor conked out. Both times the technician diagnosed the issue correctly and fixed it efficiently. They explained the problem, gave good recommendations and got the job done quickly.
